Youth Business Competition
Theme: "Business Planning for Youth"
Throughout the class students will be trained on many of the aspects
required for running a business and developing a business plan.
Each day students will apply what they have learned and at the
end of the week compete as teams while running lemonade stands.
Think a lemonade
stand isn't appropriate? Donald Trump doesn't! NBC aired "The
Apprentice" spring 2004. 16 applicants compete to work as
an apprentice for Donald Trump for one year
at an executive level position with an income of $250,000.00 a
year. Their first task? A LEMONADE STAND!
CANDO is a nonprofit economic development agency for Converse
