Renewable Energy - Roping the Wind
CANDO and the Wyoming Business Council are presenting a Renewable Energy Conference for Wyoming. This year's program should be even more educational with a planned emphasis on installed projects. In past years we have heard many experts discuss the technology and present ideas for applications. This year we will be hearing from folks like you that have already moved ahead of the herd and installed systems of their own. We plan to have an agenda covering everything from large scale commercial wind farms to off-grid wind and solar energy installations. There will also be presentations on geothermal and biomass applications.

EnergySmart Buildings
Rebuild America is a Department of Energy Program that is designed to assist public entities to insure that public facilities, both new and old are energy efficient.  CANDO (Converse Area new Development Organization) is facilitating the implementation of the Rebuild America program in the State of Wyoming, focusing on building a network of public-private partnerships and projects engaged in making energy-efficient improvements to their communities.

CANDO is targeting new and existing hospitals, municipalities and K-12 schools, working with the State of Wyoming to adopt and aggressively pursue energy efficient building concepts. CANDO, through the Wyominng Business Council, will work with local governments, hospitals and school districts to develop energy efficient projects with the resources and training necessary to improve energy efficiency in public buildings.
